- We will use the first preparation made in our own mountain wooden barrels that year in this Gran Kuryu. Junmaishu is brewed using only wood, rice, microorganisms, and natural water grown in Tamura Town, where the brewery is located. The rice is polished to 88%, which is close to brown rice, without shaving the rice. Since we do not use fertilizers or pesticides, we believe that there is no need to scrape as there are no extra nutrients attached. It's like shaving rice in a rice field. Although you can feel the flavor of rice, the clear taste is as sophisticated as that of high-refined rice.
