- Characteristics of taste
- Usu-nigori sake is a slightly cloudy sake made by lightly straining the mash. The rice flavor is made even more mellow, and while you can enjoy the original flavor of sake, it also has a refreshing throat feel and a fresh, gentle taste that you will never tire of. As it is a raw unpasteurized sake, the yeast contained in the mash is still alive. As it is a raw unpasteurized sake that has been carefully brewed, you can feel the rice flavor and the natural slight carbonation caused by the yeast even more.
