- Characteristics of taste
- This Junmai Daiginjo sake is brewed using only "Kuranohana", Miyagi Prefecture's rice variety that is suitable for sake brewing, and is grown locally in Kesennuma. It has a gorgeous aroma reminiscent of white flowers and pears, a smooth mouthfeel, and a taste that is a harmonious blend of sweetness and umami.
When paired with salty foods such as prosciutto, the sweetness is enhanced, and when paired with creamy foods such as liver pate or foie gras, the smooth textures blend together, allowing you to enjoy both.
It tastes even better if served slightly chilled in a thin glass such as a wine glass.
