[About Sado Gold Mine]
Sado Gold Mine, which became a direct territory of the Edo Shogunate under Tokugawa Ieyasu, reached the height of its glory 400 years ago during the gold rush, when an estimated 10 people gathered around the mine. This treasured aged sake has been aged in one of the mine tunnels. The tunnels of Sado Gold Mine maintain a temperature of around 11 degrees throughout the year, and of course no sunlight penetrates, making it the perfect environment for aged sake. This sake aged with the blessings of nature is a one-of-a-kind sake nurtured not only by human skill, but also by the time of history that evokes the prosperity of the time.
