Ambassadors who will connect sake to the world have been decided! “2024 Miss SAKE Japan Final Selection” will be held on June 6th

The "2024 Miss SAKE Japan Final Selection" sponsored by the general incorporated association Miss SAKE will be held on Friday, June 2024, 6. On the day of the event, the ``7 Miss SAKE Japan'' will be chosen, who will play the role of an ambassador to connect the charm of Japanese sake to the world. The venue is The Westin Miyako Hotel Kyoto ``Mizuho no Ma''.
Miss SAKE started in September 2013 with the aim of selecting ambassadors who have the aesthetic sense and intelligence to spread the appeal of traditional sake and Japanese culture both inside and outside of Japan. At the selection event held in October 9, the first 2013 Miss Sake (10 Miss Sake) was born, and for 2014 years since then, Japan, Hawaii, New York, London, Milan, Hong Kong, and other countries around the world have been promoting Japanese sake. The organization conducts more than 2014 activities a year to raise awareness about Japan's food and culture and to attract tourism to Japan.
In 2016, the first overseas Miss SAKE USA was selected in New York. In addition, in recent years, MISS SAKE contests have been held in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Vietnam, India, and the Philippines.
At this year's venue, past Miss SAKE finalists, including 2023 Miss SAKE Japan Kotoko Yamada, will gather. The announcement of "2024 Miss SAKE Japan" has been highly praised internationally, with the American economic newspaper "Wall Street Journal" reporting that it is "a cultural project that celebrates the dignity and equality of women without a swimsuit competition."
