Leaf Publications Inc., which develops and operates the sake NFT marketplace "SAKE WORLD NFT," has entered into a capital alliance with DMX VENTURES ASIA PTE.LTD., which operates Joyance Asia, by entering into a J-KISS type stock acquisition rights issuance investment agreement.

[Future prospects]
Sake World NFT is a new marketplace where you can purchase sake just like on a regular online shopping site, as well as age and store it, and buy and sell it between individuals. A notable feature of this marketplace is that, while in principle, only those who hold a liquor sales license could sell alcoholic beverages, including sake, due to regulations under the Liquor Tax Act, this marketplace allows general users who do not hold such licenses to buy and sell.
In addition, when a sale between individuals is concluded on this marketplace, a certain royalty based on the transaction amount is paid back to the brewery that produced the sake, which means that this will generate new revenue for the breweries that make the sake.
Currently, Japan is the only country in which physical sake can be delivered on this marketplace; however, with this capital alliance, Joyance Asia will accelerate its overseas expansion, primarily in Singapore, where the company is active, and will rapidly advance its business so that sake purchased on this marketplace can be delivered overseas.
