The event will be held in Fushimi, Kyoto, one of the leading sake producing regions in Japan, and will take place at the main venue, Gekkeikan Showagura (Address: 300 Katahara-cho, Fushimi-ku, Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture). In addition to the paid tastings (reservations required in advance, first come first served) of four types of high-quality sake from 18 breweries, there will also be food booths from local restaurants so you can enjoy both food and drinks.
<Major updates and changes from the first to the second round>
1. Change of main venue
The venue will change from Fushimi Port Park to Gekkeikan Showagura.
You can enjoy your drinks under the large roof without worrying about rain or snow.
2. The event will be divided into four parts instead of three!
Reduce the number of people per section to reduce congestion.
3. Only ticket buyers can enter!
To reduce congestion inside the venue, those who have not purchased a ticket and those under the age of 20 will not be allowed to enter.
4. Wait in line for each brewery!
Speed up the serving of drinks to reduce waiting time.
5. Instead of 3 liquor coupons, we'll include 4!
You can enjoy a wide variety of alcoholic drinks.
In addition, refill vouchers are also sold, allowing you to enjoy a wide variety of Fushimi sake.
Gekkeikan Showa Brewery
In addition, in the Fushimi area, also on Saturday, March 2025, 3, there will be brewery openings at 15 breweries, as well as simultaneous events in the area and a stamp rally that takes visitors around local shopping districts, making it a day that can be enjoyed not only by adults but also by families.
This time, the main venue will be able to accommodate a total of 5,000 people, but even those who cannot attend the event will be able to experience the atmosphere of the town, including the sake breweries, in the Fushimi area.
