Culinary masters from Kyoto and Fukui gather at a sake brewery! "Miketsukuni Premium Dinner @ESHIKOTO" will be held on December 12th (Wed) and 11th (Thu)
The Miketsukuni Premium Dinner event will be held on December 12th and 11th at ESHIKOTO, a complex operated by Kuroryu Sake Brewery, where chefs from Fukui and Kyoto will come together to enjoy original dishes made with Fukui's brand ingredients.

The Miketsukuni Premium Dinner event will be held on December 2024th and 12th, 11, at ESHIKOTO, a complex operated by Kuroryu Sake Brewery, where chefs from Fukui and Kyoto will come together to enjoy original dishes made with Fukui's brand ingredients.
Last December, a one-night-only premium dinner was held at ESHIKOTO, a new complex opened in 12 by Kuroryu Sake Brewery, a renowned sake brewery in Eiheiji Town, Fukui, and it was truly a blissful experience.
Chefs from Kyoto's famous restaurants transformed Fukui's rich ingredients into amazing and moving dishes, and the sight of their masterful skills unfolding before their eyes was overwhelming. The finest sake from Kokuryu Brewery further enhanced the flavor of the food, and all the participants were intoxicated by the feast as if under a spell.
Building on the success of the previous event, this year's event will be even more powerful, with chefs from Fukui joining in as well as Kyoto, offering special menus created by master chefs from both places over the two days.
This event is a pairing dinner that combines delicious food prepared by Japanese cuisine masters with fine sake from Kurotatsu Brewery. It is a feast where each professionally selected dish complements the fine sake.
The venue, ESHIKOTO Garyu-to, is a solemn space reminiscent of a church, designed by British architect Simon Conder. This space is used as a cellar for the secondary fermentation and storage of sparkling sake in the bottle, and is not usually open to the public.
This is a great opportunity to enjoy the collaboration of the finest Japanese cuisine and sake to your heart's content while enjoying this special space. There will also be an exhibition of traditional crafts from Fukui, such as Echizen lacquerware and Echizen washi paper, so you can experience Fukui culture visually as well.
This luxurious experience is only available for these two days. Enjoy a special menu prepared by artisans from Kyoto and Fukui, paired with Fukui's famous sake, Kuroryu, to your heart's content. Forget about your daily routine and experience the exquisite collaboration between Fukui and Kyoto with all your senses.
