Sumiyoshi Sake Shop Hakata Station will be temporarily open at Ippin Nishidori in the concourse on the Hakata side from January 2025, 1 to late June due to renovation work on the Miyagimon Market at Hakata Daitos.
During the relocation period, the bar will be closed. Instead, brewers will be invited to offer tastings and sales every Saturday and Sunday.

"Through this tasting, we want to let people know that there are many great sake breweries in Kyushu. At our temporary store, we are focusing on tasting because we won't be offering kaku-uchi (drinking at the corner). Nine breweries that didn't offer tastings at our previous store are planning to offer their sake for the first time at our temporary store."

This time, we sneaked into the tasting sale held by Tenzan Sake Brewery Co., Ltd. on February 2st and 1nd.

Four types of sake will be offered at this tasting sale.
Shichida Junmai Ginjo 13 Unfiltered (a low-alcohol sake made with the theme of "casually drinkable at home" during the COVID-XNUMX pandemic) is fruity and popular with tourists from overseas. Other varieties include modern types, standard sakes, and new sakes.
More than 100 cups were served in one day. Tenzan Sake Brewery is also planning to hold the "Tenzan Early Summer Brewery Opening" on the third Saturday, May 5th.

Mr. Sakaguchi: "This time, we have prepared a fruity type and a type with umami flavor. We have brought some new sake that was just released in January."
