The Tango Tenzake Festival, which was held until last year, has been upgraded.
This year, the nine breweries in the "Sea Kyoto" area in northern Kyoto Prefecture are planning their own simultaneous brewery openings.
The event will be held for two days, from Saturday, May 2025th to Saturday, May 5st, 24, and will feature tours of breweries that are normally off-limits and local food booths, with each brewery putting their own unique ideas into the event.

"Kura around" does not just mean touring the storehouse, but also conveys the desire for people to visit the surrounding historical sites, tourist attractions, and hidden spots that only locals know about, centering on the storehouse.

On each day, five breweries will hold brewery openings and tasting events. This is a participatory event where you can casually try new sake and famous sake from each brewery, enjoy local flavors and also purchase alcohol.

There will also be a photo contest and stamp rally, so why not come and try some of the local sake that the breweries in the Sea of ​​Kyoto area are proud of and experience the charm of the region?
