Chisato Tateno, who was selected as the 12th Miss SAKE Japan 2025, said, "Sake is the crystallization of Japanese culture, combining the nature of the four seasons, traditional crafts, and craftsmanship. Every drop of sake is filled with the Japanese "heart" of harmony with nature and compassion. With the pride and responsibility of being Miss SAKE, I hope to convey this profound story of sake to more people and spread the appeal of sake both domestically and internationally. Sake is not just alcohol, but a culture nurtured over a long history and a bridge that connects people. I would be more than happy if I could increase the number of fans of sake and Japan through my future activities. I would appreciate your warm support." Over the next year, she will actively travel throughout Japan and overseas to raise awareness of Japanese food culture through sake and to attract tourists to Japan.

Miss SAKE started in September 2013 with the aim of selecting ambassadors who have the aesthetic sense and intelligence to spread the appeal of traditional sake and Japanese culture both inside and outside of Japan. At the selection event held in October 9, the first 2013 Miss Sake (10 Miss Sake) was born, and for 2014 years since then, Japan, Hawaii, New York, London, Milan, Hong Kong, and other countries around the world have been promoting Japanese sake. The organization conducts more than 2014 activities a year to raise awareness about Japan's food and culture and to attract tourism to Japan.
