The Fushimi Meishu Cooperative is a cooperative business association, the first of its kind in the sake industry in Japan, which operates a brewery with joint investment from three member companies (Yamamoto Honke Co., Ltd., Toyosawa Honten Co., Ltd., and Heiwa Shuzo LLC) and undertakes the production of sake and plum wine.

Believing that "the best way to let people understand the quality of our sake is to let them taste it," the Fushimi Fine Sake Cooperative Association opens the grounds of its sake brewery to the public only during the brewing season of new sake.
A variety of events will be held, including paid tastings of freshly pressed new sake and limited edition sake, sales of sake lees, and sales of Fushimi specialties such as sake buns and Kyoto pickles.

This time too, we will be offering tastings of two types of freshly squeezed new sake (500 yen per glass) and recommended sake from three breweries (1-2 types for 500 yen).
Torisei's special sake lees soup will also be on sale (350 yen per cup).
There will also be plenty of fun activities for the whole family, such as sales of Fushimi's local specialties and ring toss.

・Yamamoto Honke (Brand/Sacred)
The company was founded in 1677 during the Edo period. It opened in Fushimi, a place famous for its water, and the current head of the company, Genbei XI, has taken over the name ever since. This traditional sake has grown alongside the food culture of Kyoto.

・Toyosawa Honten (Brand: Toyoiwai)
Founded during the Keio era of the Edo period, the company continues to create delicious sake that brings joy and happiness to everyone who drinks it, while preserving the essence of traditional techniques and incorporating new ideas.

・Heiwa Shuzo (brand: Keicho)
The company opened a rice wholesale business in Kyobashi, Osaka under the trade name Kawachiya. In 1674 during the Edo period, Kawachiya Yohei acquired a sake stock in Fushimi Imamachi, and has since been working to maintain and improve the quality of its sake.
