The 7th New Year! Hiroshima Kanzake Festival 2026 will be held on Friday, March 20th, 2026 (national holiday) at the lower level of the Honmaru (main enclosure) of Hiroshima Castle. This event, held every year on the vernal equinox in March, allows visitors to enjoy Hiroshima sake and delicious snacks during the cool, icy season.
In addition to 23 sake breweries from Hiroshima Prefecture, 14 restaurants and one supporting store will also be participating. There is no doubt that the charm of Hiroshima will be conveyed to people from both within the prefecture and overseas. There will also be performances on stage. Enjoy local sake to your heart's content!
