Nada Gogo laid the foundation for modern sake brewing and is renowned as one of the best brewing regions in Japan.
An event where you can experience this history, ``Nada's Sake Story From KOBE,'' will be held at Takahama Quay in Kobe Harborland on Sunday, October 2023, 10.

On the day of the festival, a ceremony will be held to recreate the barrel ships that transported sake from Nada Gogo to Edo, and to celebrate the departure of the modern version of the barrel ships that transport sake from Kobe to Tokyo using the power of the wind.
There are also plenty of events where you can experience the history of Nada Gogo, including paid tastings from 13 Nada Gogo breweries and 3 Itami breweries, and a stage where you can enjoy traditional Nada sake brewing songs!Enjoy the charm of Nada sake, which is still brewed using the same manufacturing methods as back then.
