Okamura Honke, a sake brewery in Shiga celebrating its 170th anniversary, will hold the 31st Kinki Autumn Sake Brewery Festival on October 10th (Sat) and 26th (Sun)
The 31st Kinki Autumn Sake Brewery Festival, where you can enjoy event-exclusive sake and tastings, will be held at Okamura Honke in Toyosato Town, Shiga Prefecture on Saturday, October 2024th and Sunday, October 10th, 26. There will be a ton of events where you can enjoy the charm of the brewery, which is celebrating its 27th anniversary.
The 31st Kinki Autumn Sake Brewery Festival, where you can enjoy event-exclusive sake and tastings, will be held at Okamura Honke in Toyosato Town, Shiga Prefecture on Saturday, October 2024th and Sunday, October 10th, 26.
Okamura Honke was founded in 1854 and is celebrating its 170th anniversary this year. It is known for its famous sake ``Kinkame,'' and has been producing sake using the wooden press method that has been used since the Edo period. On the day of the Sake Brewery Festival, there are many events that Kinki fans and sake lovers will not be able to resist, such as a sake brewery tour and talk show by the president and chief brewer, sampling and sales of Kinki, and limited edition sake sold at the Sake Brewery Festival.
In addition, at the food stalls outside the venue, snacks designed to go with the "Choju Kinkame" series will be served, with the theme of pairing food with sake. There will also be live jazz and violin performances, making this an event that can be enjoyed not only by sake lovers, but also by those who are not familiar with sake and those who do not drink alcohol.
