Enjoy a variety of sake at Choryu Sake Brewery in Nara at the 11th Kura-kai Opening on Sunday, November 17th
Choryu Brew Park, located next to Choryu Brewery in Koryo-cho, Nara Prefecture, will be holding the 1th Kura-kai event on Sunday, November 2024, 11, where you can enjoy limited edition sake made with newly harvested rice, as well as sake and tap beer starting from just one glass. Come and enjoy the charms of Choryu's diverse range of sake.
The 1th Kura-kai, an event where limited edition sakes will be sold and sake and tap beer can be enjoyed by the glass, will be held on Sunday, November 2024, 11 at Choryu Brew Park, adjacent to Choryu Sake Brewery's Koryo Brewery in Koryo-cho, Nara Prefecture.
Choryu Sake Brewery is known as the first brewery in Japan to release bottled barrel sake, "Yoshino Cedar Barrel Sake." In recent years, they have shifted to small-batch brewing in order to produce higher quality sake, and have been producing a variety of famous sakes, including junmai sake and junmai ginjo sake, which make the most of the characteristics of the sake rice. They also began brewing craft beer three years ago, which has been well-received.
On the day of the brewery opening, "first pressing of new sake" made with newly harvested rice and "limited edition craft beer" will be available for limited sale. In addition, the food and drink corner will offer the brewery's proud sake and tap beer, and in addition to the famous food stalls, food trucks will also be set up, allowing you to enjoy the pairing of alcohol with delicious food. There will also be a lot of other fun events, such as free sake, stage performances of Japanese drums and erhu, and a rock-paper-scissors tournament. Please enjoy a fun time under the autumn sky while sipping on Choryu Sake Brewery's diverse range of sake.
