An early morning tour of winter sake brewing! Cross Hotel x Sasaki Sake Brewery launches a one-day limited-time accommodation plan
Cross Hotel Kyoto has collaborated with Sasaki Sake Brewery! We are currently accepting reservations for an accommodation plan that includes an early morning tour of winter sake brewing on February 2025, 2 only.
Cross Hotel Kyoto in Kawaramachi Sanjo, Kyoto, has announced a special accommodation plan in collaboration with Sasaki Sake Brewery, the only sake brewery in the central Kyoto area. The plan is available only on February 2025, 2, and includes an early morning tour of the winter sake brewing process.
Founded in 1893, Sasaki Sake Brewery is a traditional sake brewery located on the former site of Toyotomi Hideyoshi's Jurakudai. Their flagship brand, Jurakudai, is highly regarded both in Japan and overseas. In the early morning chill of Nishijin, Kyoto, you can enjoy a special tour of the sake brewing process at Sasaki Sake Brewery, listening to the steam from the steaming rice, the sound of the fermenting mash, and the fruity aroma wafting from the tanks.
The tour includes an explanation of the history of sake brewing and a tasting of sake recommended by the brewers. You will also be able to take home a 300ml bottle of sake as a souvenir, with an original label exclusive to the Cross Hotel Kyoto attached to it.
The "Tipsy Stay Plan with Sake" is also on sale at the same time. Reservations are now being accepted for the accommodation plan that includes Sasaki Sake Brewery's representative brand "Jurakudai Junmai Ginjo", original sake cups, and daily snacks.
This winter, be sure to enjoy a special experience that allows you to experience Kyoto's traditional culture with all your senses.
