14 Fushimi sake breweries gather in autumn in Yodo for the "Fushimi Sake Festival at Kyoto Racecourse" held from October 11th to 13th

October marks the start of the new rice harvest and the start of full-scale sake brewing, a time when sake events are held all over the country. In Kyoto, the JRA Kyoto Racecourse will be hosting a paid tasting event featuring local sake breweries from Fushimi over three days from October 11th to 13th. Enjoy a glass of the new sake brewed in Fushimi as you watch the autumn races unfold at Yodo.

In the autumn season, 14 local Fushimi sake breweries will gather together for the Fushimi Sake Festival at Kyoto Racecourse, which will be held for three days from October 11th to 13th, where visitors can sample the fine sake carefully selected by each brewery for a fee.
The venue will be Hidamari Hiroba, located in the park area. It is scheduled to reopen on October 4th, the first day of the autumn horse racing season in Yodo.

The event will begin as soon as the doors open on all days and will end when the drinks run out.
In addition to the staff of Leaf Publications, who will be in charge of running the event, sake breweries are also expected to participate in providing the alcohol.
*Tickets will not be sold, including in advance. Payment must be made in cash or cashless. A separate admission fee of 200 yen is required to enter Kyoto Racecourse (free for children under 15).

This commemorative event will be held in Yodo in the fall, just before the big races that horse racing fans all over the country are looking forward to, such as the Kikuka Sho and Shuka Sho. This year, why not enjoy some new sake from Fushimi along with the majestic sight of thoroughbreds racing across the turf?
