World-class learning in Japan! Two WSET-accredited schools will hold the WSET Level 2 Award in Sake simultaneously in November 2025 in the east and west
The WSET Award in Sake is a Japanese sake course offered by the WSET (Wine and Spirits Education Trust), the world's largest alcohol education organization, headquartered in London, England. The course is held throughout the year at accredited schools in Japan, with Level 2 set to begin simultaneously in Tokyo and Osaka in November 2025. Look forward to the program now being available in Japanese in addition to English.
The WSET Award in Sake is a course that teaches you about sake in accordance with the WSET tasting method.
You will learn about sake at a global standard, gain a systematic understanding, and acquire the ability to communicate this knowledge to the world.
There are three levels of courses: Levels 1 to 3, with Levels 1 and 2 being taught in Japanese and English, and Level 3 being a qualification course taught in English only.
Compared to Level 1, which is positioned as an "introductory course," Level 2, which will be held this time, requires a broader range of knowledge and also provides a wider range of tasting experiences.
The venue in Tokyo is the Academie du Vin Aoyama branch in Shibuya Ward.
The lecturer will be Natsuki Kikutani, the creator of this course. She will be relocating from London to Japan in the summer of 2025, and this will be her first time hosting the course locally.
