The "Linkedin Kyoto Club," which originated on the American business social networking platform "Linkedin," is a community that brings together people who have some connection to Kyoto, such as those who live, commute, or have visited the city.

This event, billed as a big year-end party, will feature presentations on "redesign" originating from Kyoto from the following perspectives:
[Production] Sake World (Leaf Publications) is working on a new expression of "sake" (custom-made sake)
[School] A new era of entertainment with the Doshisha University Comedy Club Live Stage
[Government] Kyoto Prefectural Government Counsellor Talks About "Administration x Startups" and How They Can Pave the Future of Kyoto

The organizing committee members are from companies or groups that represent not only Kyoto, but Japan, including Shimadzu Corporation, Mainichi Broadcasting System, Panasonic, Hitachi, and SCREEN. The event also includes the conjunction "business SNS users," which can give the impression of being a very formal event, but the Linkedin Kyoto Year-End Party brings a casual atmosphere that appeals to a wide range of generations.

Sake World is promoting the "Made-to-Order Sake Project," which involves blending existing brands to create new sake, through initiatives such as the original brand "Assemblage Club," developed in collaboration with a long-established sake brewery in Kyoto, and the "My Sake World" sake experience facility, which has two locations in Kyoto, where visitors can try making their own sake.

Leaf Publications, the operating company, will touch on their long history of involvement with sake through events such as the Fushimi Sake Festival and various promotional activities, and will discuss the things and ideas they are creating by starting the [Sake World] business, as well as their outlook for the future.

In addition, on the day of the event, volunteers from the organizing committee will visit My Sake World Oike Bettei in advance to offer custom-made sake that they have "developed."

The atmosphere was relaxed throughout the experience as we sampled the custom-made sake.

"Onko Chishin" was created as a way to enjoy the "old," an essential part of Kyoto, the birthplace of sake, and as a way to preserve the traditional industry for all eternity. It is said to be a thought-provoking "communication tool" for redesigning Kyoto in the future.
