A day to deepen your understanding of sake
My Sake World Kyoto Kawaramachi store will be hosting a restaurant owner-only event, "Bomio Sake," on January 28th

My Sake World Kyoto Kawaramachi, a facility run by Sake World that allows visitors to experience making their own original blended sake, will be hosting an event exclusively for restaurant owners called "Bomios Sake" on January 28th. The event will be held in two parts and is co-hosted by Bomios Japan, which runs a members-only restaurant owner community, and OPENPRO, a Kyoto-based company that provides support for restaurant openings in the Kansai region.

Vomios Japan is a members-only business community based in Tokyo, Osaka, and Okayama that aims to become a "hub" for business management. They interpret the word "hub" as "a relationship where people rely on each other and are relied upon by each other," and operate it as a place that will lead to the revitalization of the local community.

OPENPRO is a Kyoto-based company that provides support for restaurant management in the Kansai region. Its wide range of responsibilities include store planning, design, renovation, and construction. It is a group of food and beverage professionals who express these in a variety of business formats, including cafes, izakayas, restaurants, and clubs.

The event, Bomio Sake, is co-hosted by three companies, including Sake World, which operates My Sake World, and is open only to restaurant owners.
The first part of the program will be held at the Kyoto Kawaramachi store, and will combine an experience of blending original sake offered by the store with a special seminar by Toshikazu Sakaba, president of PAL Corporation, which operates OPENPRO. The second part will be a social gathering at the Kawaramachi restaurant ISOMATSU (formerly ISOMATSU). The restaurant is run by ISOMATSU Corporation, which has introduced Sake World's "Made to Order Sake," including Natsuyu, a sake made specifically for vegetables.

By experiencing it for yourself and learning about it as a case study, the day will convey that blended sake can be a powerful "weapon" for restaurant management. Sake World 2026 will also convey the idea that sake can be a hub from the perspective of restaurants.
