Limited edition sake “Garyubai Junmai Ginjo Ryokawachi Kamenoo 2023” will be released on April 4th with “Kamenoo” from Shizuoka

Brewing sake "Garyubai" in Shimizu, Shizuoka Prefecture [Sanwa Sake Brewery] is collaborating with the local NPO Complex Power to release the sake ``Garyubai Ryokawachi Kameno 2023,'' brewed with the sake rice ``Kame-no-oo'' grown in the Ryōkawachi area, on April 4th.

``Kokyo Riki'' has been working on regenerating rice fields and bamboo forests for the past 10 years, and while recultivating the rice fields, they started cultivating the sake rice ``Kamenoo'' 6 years ago.Sanwa Sake Brewery brews valuable sake rice that was harvested after overcoming damage from typhoons and other troubles.

``Garyubai Ryokawachi Kamenoo 2023'' is made from Shimizu terroir, using underground water from the Okitsu River for preparation, and using local rice and water.

This time, we will also introduce a new initiative, the research theme ``Shizuoka/Shimizu Terroir (Sake) Value Creation Project - From Oxyzu to Shizumae'' by ``Sanwa Sake Brewery'' and ``Tokai University.''

In this study, sake made from Shimizu rice and water was stored under the sea in Shimizu Port and its ripeness was evaluated.

Kamenoo's undersea storage sake ``Garyubai Undersea Storage Test Sake'' is sold out.Junmai Daiginjo Aizan and Sparkling Sake are both on sale.It is also planned to be sold at Garyuume dealers and online stores.
