The owner, Mr. Takagi, gained experience as a chef at Tawaraya, a prestigious and long-established inn in Kyoto, and served as the head chef at Namba Sushi Yokoda, a Michelin-starred restaurant.

After receiving a hot offer from the owner of the popular restaurant [Fish, Charcoal, Teppan and Tototo] in Shinsaibashi, Osaka, he opened [Sakashi, Yakitori, Kappo and Tototo] in Kyoto.
Expectations are high as Mr. Takagi, who has impressed gourmets at many famous restaurants, will be able to offer a wide range of dishes including fish, yakitori, and Kyoto cuisine.
