Celebrating 150th anniversary of founding
Continuing to challenge innovation beyond tradition
A delicious and sharp sake that you won't get tired of drinking.
Counting from its founding in the early Meiji era150Takeuchi Sake Brewery celebrates its anniversary.Ishibe, Omi, where the brewery is located, was a thriving post town during the Edo period, and was said to have a reputation among travelers as ``this area has good sake.''

From ancient times, this area has been blessed with the conditions for producing delicious sake: the cold winters of Hiei Oroshi, underground water from the foothills of Mt. Suzuka, and high-quality Omi rice.

The representative brands are ``Ko no Izumi'', which is popular as a local sake from Omi, and ``Yuiyu'', a sake that you will never get tired of drinking.

Using sake rice from Shiga Prefecture such as Tamaei, Ginbubuki, and Watafune, our brewers work together as a team to produce sake with a deep, crisp quality that brings out the flavor of the rice.

While preserving tradition, it also features a wide variety of variations that meet modern needs.Eye-catching items include refreshing fruit liqueurs made with mango, yuzu, and sake, and ``Samigen,'' which is made with special antioxidant-reduced water.
