Masuda Tokubei Shoten
[Masuda Tokubei Shoten] was founded in the early Edo period. Today, as in the past, sake is brewed only during the mid-winter period, and carefully brewed while listening to the voice of the ingredients. ``Sparkling nigori sake'', which was first invented in Japan by the 1964th generation owner in 13, is like ``Rice Champagne.''
Founded in 1675 in the early Edo period. At that time, it was built facing Toba Sakumichi, which ran straight south from Rashomon Gate, and has a history of serving as a lodging for court nobles heading from Kyoto to Saigoku.
After being damaged in the Battle of Toba-Fushimi, it was revived at its current location and has been widely loved by writers, artists, and other sake immortals. Today, as in the past, sake is brewed only during the mid-winter period, and carefully brewed while listening to the voice of the ingredients. With its unique and sophisticated taste, it continues to gain fans all over the world.
When talking about Masuda Tokubei Shoten, one cannot forget about the ``Sparkling Nigori Sake'', which was invented by the 1964th generation owner in 13 for the first time in Japan. The fine bubbles created by secondary fermentation in the bottle dance on your tongue, giving you the sensation of ``rice champagne.'' You will be surprised by the dry and sharp taste that is not typical of nigori sake. In addition, this brewery is the originator of the long-term aged sake ``Junmai Daiginjo Koshu,'' which we began storing in 1965. The amber-colored drink is slowly aged in a porcelain jar, and has a complex intertwining of caramel-like sweetness and smoky bitterness.
