Since its founding in Noda, the former Toyomura village in Fukui Prefecture, Toyo Sake Brewery's sake has been loved by the locals for many years, but since the ninth generation of the brewery itself in the Meiji period, the brewer himself has become deeply involved in sake brewing.
The current owner, the 11th generation, Munetoshi Sasaki, trained under master brewers of three schools in Noto, Niigata, and Tanba, and as a brewery chief brewer, he worked hard to create special ``local sake'' that could only be brewed in this area. Their Daiginjo and Junmai Daiginjo brewed with Gohyakumangoku, a specially cultivated rice grown in Fukui Prefecture, and underground water from the Hino River have received high praise, winning awards at the National Sake Competition.
Yutaka Sake Brewery has a rich lineup of sake, from honjozo to junmai to daiginjo, and can be used for a wide variety of purposes, from drinking at home to giving as a gift.
"Kasoku Red Label" is a unique in-house blend that changes the taste because the blend ratio changes depending on the shipping time, "Kasoku Toku Junmai Aged Genshu Namazume", which enjoys the mellowness and aroma that can only be achieved through long-term aging, and sake for those who don't like sake. Also worth checking out are the unique sakes such as ``Kasoku Sparkling Méthode Rural,'' which was created by the 12th generation owner, Katsumune Sasaki, so that people can also enjoy drinking it.
