Continuously improving with the motto "New every day"

Taking over from the Taiko Shuzojo sake brewery that dates back to the end of the Edo period, the company is a comprehensive alcoholic beverage manufacturer that handles a wide range of products, including sake, shochu, liqueurs, and fruit liqueurs. The company name embodies the idea that "every day is new."

Hisago Taiko, brewed at Taiko Sake Brewery, located in the nature-rich Yoshino River basin, has won the gold medal 20 times at the National New Sake Tasting Competition and is loved both within and outside the prefecture as a famous Awa sake. The sake is made using underground water from the clear Yoshino River. This medium-soft water has a good balance of minerals, resulting in a refreshing, easy-to-drink sake. The rice used is Awa Yamada Nishiki, grown locally in Awa Town. It contains a lot of starch, and by making it into a firm koji, it brings out the sweetness and aroma, and because it has few unpleasant flavors when stored, it matures gently and develops into a solid flavor.

In addition, all of the koji is handmade using boxed koji. By maximizing the characteristics of the rice, we aim to create sake that is unique to the local culture and has a flavor that everyone will find delicious.
