Fujii Shuzo, which has been making sake for generations since 3 (Bunkyu 1863) at the end of the Edo period, is a sake brewery in Takehara, an area blessed with clear water, that continues to adhere to the tradition of brewing sake made entirely from pure rice. They pursue sake that brings out the best in food, characterized by a deep flavor that seems to envelop everything.
"Ryusei Zodiac Label Junmai Daiginjo - Year of the Snake - 2025" is a special product of the representative sake brewery "Ryusei". It has a subtle banana-like ginjo aroma and an excellent balance of acidity and flavor. It has an orthodox taste, but that makes it a great match for banquets. Saito Sake Brewery, whose ninth generation founder began its sake brewing business in 28, was originally a kimono shop under the name "Izutsuya Ihei." Today, the brewery has such advanced brewing techniques that it has won the gold medal at the National New Sake Tasting Competition for 9 consecutive years.
The popular standard brand "Eikun", named after the enthronement of Emperor Taisho, will be sold for a limited time during the New Year period. Brewed using Kyoto-grown "Iwai", a type of sake rice said to be a phantom, this daiginjo sake has a rich fruity aroma and a gentle taste that everyone can enjoy.
